Terms & Conditions of Tuition
Fees for tuition are to be agreed at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Lessons being paid for on a weekly basis must be paid in cash. Lessons being paid for as a block may be paid by bank transfer or cash at the first lesson.
Refund Policy for Block Lessons
Block of 4 lessons: If you decide to stop before all of the lessons have been taken, you will receive a refund equal to the full amount less the lessons taken at the appropriate weekly rate. For example, a student who books 4 lessons for a total of £120 but cancels after taking 2 lessons would receive a refund of £50 = £120 - (2x£35).
Please give notice of any cancellations as soon as possible. All lessons during term time are to be paid for regardless of the reason for cancellation or length of notice given. I will endeavour to provide opportunities to make up those missed lessons where possible on other days/time slots to usual lessons or during holidays but these are not guaranteed. If I have to cancel a lesson, you will not be charged.
Although I work within the school curriculum, I do not do homework or assignment questions that are meant to be the student's own work.
I strive to provide the best possible service. However, I will not be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the student. Although I will do everything in my power to help grades and skill sets improve, I can offer no guarantee thereto.
I am not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of use of my tutoring service, or any errors or omissions in the content of my materials. You the client specifically waive any and all claims arising out of the use of this tutoring service.
All materials I create in-house are copyright. You agree that you will not publish or distribute any portion of any materials without prior written permission from me.
I understand that the rate of my/my child’s progress depends on my/their willingness to follow up on the skills taught during the lessons by implementing the suggestions and advice of the tutor and practising these skills between lessons.
