Payment

Fees for tuition are to be agreed at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Fees may be subject to change at the discretion of the tutor. Lessons being paid for as a block may be paid by bank transfer or cash.

Payment: £140 for 4 lessons in advance (£35). If at the end of the year you need less than 4 lessons, then the final payment will be £35 x number of weeks required.

Cancellation Policy: Please give notice of any cancellations as soon as possible. 

You can miss 1 lesson between September and the end of November without needing to pay for it, if this is not needed then it will rollover. You can miss 1 lesson between December and the end of February, if this is not needed it will rollover. You can miss 1 lesson between March and the end of the school year. Any lessons not covered will need to be paid for or, if I am able, to be rearranged. I will endeavour to provide opportunities to make up those missed lessons where possible on other days/time slots to usual lessons or during holidays but these are not guaranteed.

 

Refund Policy for Block Lessons

 

If you decide to stop lessons and inform me at least 48 hours before the next lesson then any remaining lessons will be refunded in full.  If you inform will less than 48 hours before the next lesson then that lesson will need to be paid for and any further lessons will be refunded.

Although I work within the school curriculum, I do not do homework or assignment questions that are meant to be the student's own work.

 

I strive to provide the best possible service.  However, I will not be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the student.  Although I will do everything in my power to help grades and skill sets improve, I can offer no guarantee thereto.

 

I am not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of use of my tutoring service, or any errors or omissions in the content of my materials.  You the client specifically waive any and all claims arising out of the use of this tutoring service.

 

All materials I create in-house are copyright.  You agree that you will not publish or distribute any portion of any materials without prior written permission from me.

 

I understand that the rate of my/my child’s progress depends on my/their willingness to follow up on the skills taught during the lessons by implementing the suggestions and advice of the tutor and practising these skills between lessons.
